Nokia 6110 Navigator | A GPS smart phoneNokia unveiled at the 3GSM its latest navigation smartphone: the Nokia 6110 Navigator. The intention of Nokia with the 6110 Navigator is to bring to the mass market a phone with a perfectly integrated GPS system. The Nokia 6110 Navigator with a single click on the smartphone one touch Navigator key will assist the user in its movements. Before deciding where to go the user will be given the possibility to search for a particular place or service (like hotels or restaurants). This is made possible through the use of GPS and the Assisted Global Positioning System. The user will be able to see in real time its position on a map (the one installed or another purchased online). To fully assist also the user while he is driving, the Nokia 6110 Navigator also sports a voice guidance navigation system. The Nokia 6110 Navigator comes with a 2 megapixel camera that can be used to shoot pictures or record videos. To share the multimedia content this 3G smart phone supports HSDPA for high speed data transfer. If the internal memory capacity (40MB) is not enough, the smart phone has a microSD slot to expand the memory up to 2GB. To watch the content recorded Nokia included a 16 million colors 2.2\" QVGA screen. The Nokia 6110 Navigator, equipped with a Symbian OS, is also compatible with all the application and games of the S60 series. This smart phone will be available in the second quarter of 2007 and the suggested retail price should be $450 USD. |
