Transfer vinyl records to CD with iTTUSB

If you want to transfer your vinyl records to cd Ion may have the right gadget for you: the iTTUSB. It is a USB turntable similar externally to the more professional products used by the DJs but more oriented to the home user. Its main purpose is to transfer the vinyl record content into a digital format that can be saved on your PC.

To transfer your vinyl records to cd or to, for example, an MP3 all you have to do is connect the gadget to the USB port and use the included software. There is no need to install a particular driver like other gadgets may require. You just have to install an encoder, not provided by Ion, for the final format you want your music.

Once the vinyl record content has been transferred with the included Audacity program you will be able to easily edit and save the music to cd. If you want to use another software you will also be able to do it since iTTUSB works with any program that supports USB audio input sound cards.

It goes without saying that Ion thought about providing a high quality digital version so they also included software to cleanup any glitch due to vinyl. The iTTUSB can be used both on Windows and on Mac platforms.

As for the supported vinyl records the iTTUSB is able to read 33 1/3 and 45 rpm records. This gadget comes with an adjustable anti-skating control (for stereo balancing), an adjustable pitch control and support for high-speed vinyl recording.

Lastly the iTTUSB can also be connected to a stereo system to be used as a normal turntable. For the latter use Ion has included in the retail box a line level RCA cable. The price for the iTTUSB turntable is set to $139.
